The University town

The city of Würzburg, the centre of Lower Franconia, goes back almost three thousand years and has many facets: City of Culture, City of Economy, Episcopal city, but above all, a University city. With the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg, the University of Music Würzburg and the University Würzburg-Schweinfurt three major Universities are based here.

Würzburg, the city where ideas for Nobel Prize are born, distinguishes itself by an active scientific life and is also a popular place for conventions. The University Hospital of Würzburg and other hospitals offer excellent medical and health care far beyond the region.

There are approx. 30.000 students with a population of 130.000 of which more than 5.000 study at the Würzburg Department of the FHWS. The student character of the city on the river Main does not only reflect a vibrant café- and bar scene and varied night-life options for night owls. Various festivals and concerts, museums and exhibitions also offer cultural highlights all year round. The wide range of bookshops and University libraries leaves nothing to be desired for succesful studies. The premises of the Campus Continued Education of the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University can be used for the events of the Master's study course held in Würzburg.

In short: Würzburg combines the apparent differences of tradition and innovation. In addition to the architectural and historical masterpieces of architectural design, Würzburg is a modern University city, which offers a wide range of leisure activities and makes studying fun! The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Health Management offers the best conditions for a productive, vibrant and unforgettable period of study and a successful degree.
